Established in 2020 as part of the Fabrique du Plurilinguisme, Ed’Innov was initially conceived by the Institut français de Paris and implemented in Tunisia. It emerged in response to presidential priorities on digital innovation in education. However, the project faced challenges, including funding constraints and schools grappling with crisis management. The initial phase also highlighted a critical gap: the cultural divide between educators and Edtech entrepreneurs.
As Lebanon strives to rebuild its education system from crisis, adapting and re-launching the Ed’Innov cluster becomes imperative. The country, having experienced a rapid and unsuitable digitization, now sees Lebanese initiatives aiming to foster a new pedagogical approach through tailored digital activities.
Introducing innovation methods and innovative management into schools.
Co-creating new innovations with schools to ensure their full adoption.
Structurally involving global donors and philanthropic foundations in school innovation.
Bridging diverse worlds (principals, teachers, parents, entrepreneurs, and researchers) to mobilize them around the needs of schools and students.
